Bod'or was invited to develop this unique project together with Heijmans. It includes a uniquely finished door. Bod'or supplied it factory lacquered, included fastenings, frames and assembly. See the photos for an impression.
The construction of the Bosrijk holiday park at the Efteling is in its final stages. Until the opening on 11 December, most remaining work will consist of finishing and furnishing the homes, apartments and other accommodation.
At a cost of 52 million Euro, Bosrijk is the largest investment in the history of the Efteling. It will soon house 1,150 guests who — Efteling intends — will stay for two or three nights to allow them several days visiting the theme park.
Efteling Bosrijk comprises 99 detached ‘Boshuysen’, 26 linked ‘Dorpshuysen’ and 78 apartments spread over two buildings: the Poorthuys and the Landhuys. The Poorthuys, the entrance to Efteling Bosrijk, houses alongside the apartments all the central facilities: the reception, the Eethuys restaurant, a small souvenir shop and the Badhuys; a covered water play area for the younger guests.
